NEW: Management Trainee Programme at the Motel One Group

Are you passionate about hospitality, eager to take an active role, continuously learn, and assume responsibility? Then our Management Trainee Programme is the ideal starting point for your long-term career with the Motel One Group. In just 12 to 18 months, we will prepare you for your future role as a Hotel Manager (f/m/d) through a structured and hands-on development journey. You will rotate through three of our hotels – both nationally and internationally – gaining in-depth insights into all operational areas.

Throughout the programme, you will benefit from exciting projects, a tailored training plan, and dedicated support from experienced mentors. Front Office

Reservations

In the reservations department, you are often the first point of contact our guests have with the Motel One Group. And as we know, first impressions count. With friendliness and a meticulous approach to your work, you ensure that our guests feel well looked after right from the start. But Reservations is much more than just taking bookings. You strategically place our rooms on various booking portals and actively contribute to achieving optimal occupancy rates for our hotels. Sales

The Motel One Group sales team offers you a varied working day in which initiative is not only allowed but encouraged.
Direct contact with customers – whether in person, on the phone or at events – is just as important as the organisation, planning and analytical support of various projects. Your day will be filled with dialogue, attention to detail and the joy of creativity. You will not only contribute your own ideas, but also play an active role in shaping the future and be part of a motivated, collegial team. Service

Housekeeping

Cleanliness is a key component of our service quality – and the result of effective teamwork. In the Motel One Group's housekeeping department, everyone shares responsibility for ensuring that our guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. From maintaining public areas to thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, the team ensures the highest standards every day. This work is complemented by the coordination of smooth processes, cooperation with external service providers and organisational tasks such as quality control, ordering goods and warehousing. Care, a high level of quality awareness and clear communication are the foundations for our shared success.

Maintenance

Whether it's installing televisions and lamps, fixing technical or structural defects, or painting, our in-house technicians ensure that everything runs smoothly in the hotel. Together with external service providers, you will ensure that technology, IT and infrastructure are functioning at all times – for smooth operations and an all-round good guest experience. You will be supported by the Technology team at the Headoffice, who will be on hand to offer advice and assistance. Completed technical vocational training and/or relevant experience in building maintenance form the basis for this role.

Management

As a hotel manager at the Motel One Group, you will take on the management of a hotel with full operational and strategic responsibility. You will be responsible for quality management, the profitability of the location and all personnel-related issues – always with the aim of ensuring smooth operations and a first-class guest experience. To do this, you will bring business management expertise, industry experience in the hotel sector, leadership skills and team spirit to the role. In larger hotels, you will be supported by an assistant manager. Our administration assistants will also relieve you of accounting and office organisation tasks so that you can concentrate on what is most important: successfully managing your team and hotel.

Administration

As an Administration Assistant at the Motel One Group, you will be the organisational backbone behind the scenes, playing a key role in ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly. With a keen eye for numbers, structures and processes, you will take on a wide range of tasks – from bookkeeping and accounting to reporting and office organisation. You will work closely with hotel management and act as the interface to the Headoffice. You will ensure that all administrative processes run efficiently, correctly and in line with our standards. Organisational skills, accuracy and team spirit are key – regardless of whether you have industry experience or are starting with us as a career changer.
