One Cup

Once a year, it’s kick-off time at Motel One! At our internal soccer tournament, the One Cup, employees from all countries and hotel locations come together to give it their all on the field. Driven by fair play and a love for the game, teams from all locations take part in the friendly competition. But it’s more than just sport. The tournament fosters team spirit, international connections, and cultural exchange. The highlight of the 2025 tournament: the trophy went to our UK & International All Stars Team. Congratulations!

Green Key Certification

The Motel One Group has signed a cooperation agreement with Green Key. Our The Cloud One Hotel in the US has already received this prestigious certification. Green Key is an independent, internationally recognized eco-label that represents the highest standards in environmental management (e.g. water, energy) and sustainability education, especially for employees and guests. With this initiative, the Motel One Group reinforces its long-term commitment to sustainable business practices and responsible tourism.

Leadership Programme

As the Motel One Group continues to grow, so does the demand for strong leadership across our hotels. To support and develop internal talent, our One University offers a Leadership Program.
