Trainings for ALL employees
Personal Development is a huge part of Motel One’s engagement for employees.. The One University is our personal training academy, which is open to all employees and offers various development opportunities.
We provide you with interesting topics to prepare you for your tasks in two or three training courses each year. You take part in trainings from your very first year – tailored based on your individual position. Our Motel One trainers and training partners are top experts – whether for front office, sales or topics like communication and management. Regional trainings and coaching at the hotels are also on offer.

The One Campus
The One University is located at the One Campus in Munich, which is also where Motel One is headquartered. The One Campus is not just a training centre, but also an idea laboratory. Staff from all our hotels and the head office come together to create new concepts.
There are 13 modern training rooms on two levels and an individual campus restaurant. During their training at the One Campus, participants stay at the Motel One München-Campus and enjoy a wonderful opportunity to experience the hotel as a guest.

Our trainings concept
Our curriculum includes a large number of practical trainings. In the first year, we want to prepare you for your tasks at the hotel. You can broaden your specialised knowledge in an interactive reservation training or SIHOT basic training. There are also individual trainings for your personal development available, such as rhetoric or time management. There is a total of more than 50 different trainings.
Managers and long-time employees can also take advantage of appropriate training offers. For example, you can learn how to become an internal trainer yourself.
Our IU courses Personnel Management and Rooms Division are available for ambitious employees interested in a degree. After successfully finishing a course and passing the exam, you can acquire ECTS points for a degree programme later on.

Life at the One Campus
Our campus is a true place to meet colleagues from all Motel One locations. It gives you the opportunity to get to know each other and meet old acquaintances. In the evening, you can chat to Daniel Müller, COO, or Ursula Schelle-Müller, Head of Marketing, at the Campus Cocktail and discuss new ideas and projects.
Your stay at the One Campus should make you feel at home. After an intense day of training, you can burn off energy at a football training or in our fitness courses, and follow it up with a round of table football or chilling by the Isar with coworkers – perfect!
