Your tasks
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in the heart of London. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional drinking experience for our guests whilst maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and innovative signature drinks
- Provide friendly and efficient service to patrons, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Manage stock levels, assist with inventory, and collaborate with management on beverage ordering
- Process payments accurately and responsibly handle cash and card transactions
- Offer knowledgeable recommendations on drink pairings and menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and coordination
- Assist in creating and updating drink menus, incorporating seasonal trends and guest preferences
- Ensure compliance with UK alcohol laws and practise responsible serving at all times
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods
What you bring
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment
- Completed apprenticeship in the hotel trade or professional experience in the hospitality industry
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and mixology techniques
- Thorough understanding of UK alcohol laws and commitment to responsible service practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency in a high-volume setting
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and maintain high standards of service during busy periods
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist across departments when needed
- Passion for the hospitality industry and dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences
- BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) qualification is desirable
