Motel One is growing throughout Europe! While many cities such as Berlin and Munich have already been ‘painted turquoise’ with several Motel One hotels, in other cities like Barcelona and Paris, we are not only opening new hotels, but entering an entirely new market.
Our Sales Managers actively support our growth. In addition to telephone acquisitions, we place priority on personal contact – for example in our ‘Sales Blitz’. To launch a blitz, the Sales Managers visit companies in the surrounding area. With a small gift up their sleeve, they introduce Motel One and establish initial contact.

Give a welcome to customers at Motel One
Where a contact already exists, our sales managers warmly invite their customers to the Motel One to win them over with the Motel One concept. This allows the customers to experience our design style in the One Lounge, the views from the bedrooms, the high-quality bed linen and comfortable beds, as well as the friendly attitude of our employees and the outstanding quality of service. After this, together with the customer we take a look at the services we can offer them.

Direct line to our customers
Our Sales Managers are the first port of call for our corporate customers at Motel One. They deal with drafting contracts, for example, they help customers with bookings and cancellations, and are also available for general questions. Here, too, service quality is part of the everyday experience.
Show team spirit in the hotel
Sales Managers help colleagues from other departments when day-to-day operations become stressful now and then. For example, they take over check-ins or help out with reservations. Working across departments is a feature of the One spirit! We help each other and are successful together.

Events: for sales managers and customers
Once a year, all the Motel One Sales Managers meet for the Annual Sales Meeting. Together they discuss the past year, develop strategies and define new targets. There is also plenty of time for getting to know each other on a personal level.
Furthermore, Sales Managers also plan their own annual customer event in their Motel One. The most important customers are invited. Sales Managers can exercise their creativity in the design and organisation of this event. For instance, there was once a trip with customers into the woods to chop down Christmas trees together.
